Mompreneur and visionary behind Project Eleven26 Jewelry is our Founder and Jewelry Designer, Lakeshia R. Williams. Whom has always strived to work hard and provide the best life for her children.

However, in 2010, Lakeshia found herself embarking on a new journey that would forever change her life. She not only became a single mom but also homeless. Her chapter of homelessness would last for a duration of 4 years. There were many contributing factors that led to this journey which included an unhealthy relationship, lack of a supportive family foundation and a non-existent back-up plan that would help her get back on her feet quickly.

However, during this time Lakeshia would take her hobby of designing jewelry and create a business to sell her jewelry around Atlanta, Georgia. That gave her so much hope and momentum to push through, no matter how bleak the situation was looking. With that dedication and tenacity, she was able to move out of the homeless shelter on October 1, 2014 and design a new chapter in her life.

In 2013, Lakeshia created this social enterprise that initially started as a for-profit retail boutique called "Eleven26 Jewelry". A bohemian inspired line of handmade one-of-a-kind jewelry.

In 2015, Project Eleven26 was established, which gives homeless women with children the training and entrepreneurial education they need from local community partners to simply monetize on the skills and natural talents they already possess. Along with additional supportive programs like Fresh Start, Transitions and Design My Story, each play a vital role in supporting women to gain long-term economic stability.
